Reflection
In a softball competition Sarah from the Western
Oregon team, batted her first homeroom but with that homeroom she batted her
softball career. Sarah had torn her ACL and was on the flooring hugging the base;
her teammates were not allowed to touch her. That is when Mallory and Liz from the opposing
team Central Washington carried her to all the bases until she made her first
homerun. This is the best example of good sportsmanship. Mallory and Liz did
not have to carry her, they could have just left her there, but winning the
game did not matter to them, they were loyal and helped Sarah out because she
deserved it. Central Washington lost the
game, but they gained much more respect and left that field with loyalty. Mallory
and Liz are a great example to people all over the world, loyalty and good sportsmanship
are very important.
