Honesty is one of the most important parts of character and one of the ones that define you the most. An honest person doesn’t try to avoid things they face them with the truth no matter how harsh it is. When you are honest you portray a better quality of yourself which people will see and judge you on. Who doesn’t like an honest person? An example of this great statement is when you find something valuable, an honest person does not keep it they look for the owner and return it. An honesty person is always at peace because they have nothing to hide or feel guilty of.

 Honesty is always the best policy. Employers need to know that they can trust you with everything from company credit cards to trade secrets. How can you work at honesty? You demonstrate integrity every day that you do your own homework and resist the temptation to cheat on exams.

The best way to curtail pressure and to even eliminate it is to prepare. Applying the motto “Be Prepared” holds true first time and every time. Prepare for that test, and you won’t worry about it. In fact, it will be your chance to shine, to reveal the hard work you have put into preparing for the test. You will be rewarded for the effort you have thrust into your studies. ·         If there is an author listed, look for a biography that discusses the author’s education, profession and other relevant background. If there is no bio on the site, search for one elsewhere on the Web.

·         Check the date Facts can change over time, so see if the site shows when it was last updated.

·         Presentation counts; look at everything from design to spelling. A clean, well-organized site shows a certain degree of professionalism.

·         Avoid sites that are pornographic, vulgar, inappropriate, below par, suggestive, and falsifying.

In any store you can buy a gold medal, with no meaning, but a true champion receives its medal with hard work and dedication. You cannot say you are a winner of anything without hard work.

Conduct your research with the attitude of a skeptic. As you examine websites for clues that they’re trustworthy, ask these questions:

·       Who wrote the Web page? If you can’t identify the individual or organization responsible for the information, don’t use it.

·       What are the author’s qualifications for writing on the subject?

·       Has the article passed through an editorial process designed to ensure quality and accuracy?

·       What is the website’s purpose? Look for motives --- like spelling products or winning votes—that could result in biased or incomplete information.

·       Is the information accurate? It is up-to-date?

·         Where did the author get this information?

Accept your mistakes. Always look at yourself and see what you can do to improve yourself. What you can do to reach your goal. In basketball when you take a shot and you miss, its not the fault of the hoop, but yours. Maybe you could have bent your knees a little more or used your wrist more. Look at the mistakes you made accept them and improve them.

I agree with Matthews statement. You have to put all your energy and mind to what your goals. In order to be successful you need to stay on track, you can’t put focus on anything else. In college there will be many distractions such as parties, but you need to concentrate in your goal graduating. If you give your attention to the distractions you will not be successful. Stay focused at all times to be successful.

Don’t go day by day thinking and doing nothing because there is tomorrow. Today counts and will impact your future so don’t let it go to waste and start.

I agree with Rand, you cannot justify what you know is not right. If you know it is bad, evil then why do it? Doing something bad, you will later try to make up and excuse to force yourself to think it is right because you cannot life with the guilt, but it will always be wrong. You cannot steal something and try to justify it by saying “you needed it” or “it was only a dollar or two” No it is wrong; evil nothing will change that. Always be wise in your decisions, there will be no justification later on.

Give it you’re all in everything that you do. You will never be able to go back and rewind time, so why not make the best out of the day and improve yourself? You should always try and improve yourself at everything you do because practice makes perfect. Whether it’s learning how to do something or it’s in a job, you should always improve each day. By improving and giving it your all at something like work you will get promoted to a better job. It never hurts to not improve and give it your all so why not do it?
